Jordan Montgomery: Featured Artist #3

Born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA, rapper Jordan Montgomery is a member of the arts and activism collective 1Hood. Jordan gained exposure on the Pittsburgh hip hop scene with a string of releases with longtime producer MOSLOV. Jordan's style has been compared to early 2000s rap artists such as Jay-Z, Cam'ron, and Kanye West. He has graced stages with hip hop legends including Rakim, Chuck D, and X Clan.


Back in 2016, Jordan Montgomery released his debut album Driving While Black to local and national praise. The album touched on subjects such as police brutality and racism. But he hasn't stopped grinding since then.


Since the release of DWB, Jordan has been hard at work creating and helming his record label of the same name, Driving While Black Records. Driving While Black Records roster also includes the self-proclaimed 'Best Rapper in Pittsburgh' Livefromthecity, and L U C. Jordan is featured on Live's project, Lightwork, that drops April 1st.


Jordan plans to release his second album Dark Horse in May. Until then spend some time with DWB and some of his Soundcloud loosies.
